VOLUNTEERING

Volunteering in student ministry was very rewarding for me, and I’m sure it can have the same effect on you. When we give our time to God, we make room for his will in our lives and the lives of others around us. Being part of student ministry is truly a way of giving back to the God who has given so much to us through our salvation. I encourage you to be giving of your time and be part of sowing the seeds of our future generation of believers. STUDENTS

As students, we can look out for others in need of friendship or spread a little kindness to the students around us. When we develop a mindset of caring for others, we can see things we may not have seen otherwise. Jesus instructs us not just to love family and friends, but all people and kindness can go a long way in a person's life. So please reach out to learn the benefits of learning how to spot bullying and control your hurt so it doesn't turn to anger and become bullying.

YOUTH PASTORS

As a student ministry pastor, the welfare of the children you Shepard will always be at the forefront of how you approach the teachings that Jesus left for us to follow. It’s imperative in today’s culture that we spread the word of kindness towards others and teach the meaning of love as stated in the bible. Jesus made it clear that we are to love one another as he has loved us, and the apostle Paul tells us how that should look in practical application in 1st Corinthians 13 4-8. Bullying is a behavior that is taking a toll on our children. If the saying is true that our children are our future, then the time is now to act and fight against this type of darkness that is hurting so many children today. Please make this subject a regular part of your youth ministry lessons and spread the seeds of love and kindness through the children who represent our future world as we know it.
